Privacy policy

In short: your drafts never leave your device. We have no account system, no sync and no analytics inside the extension.

The extension

What it stores: the text you type into text boxes, text inputs and editable areas on web pages, plus the page address, page title, a label for the field, and when it was saved. It also stores your settings (paused sites, how long to keep drafts) and, if you bought Pro, your license key.

Where: only in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer (chrome.storage.local). It is not synced to your Google account and is never sent to us or anyone else.

What it never stores: password fields, payment card fields, fields a site marks with autocomplete="off", and fields whose name, id or label suggests a password, card number, CVV, social security number or similar secret.

How long: drafts are deleted automatically after 7 days (Pro users can choose 30 days, 90 days or forever). You can delete any draft, or all drafts, from the toolbar popup at any time. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.

Network requests: the extension makes exactly one kind of request: when you activate Pro, it sends the license key you entered to pf-formsaver.vercel.app/api/license/verify to check it. Nothing else is sent, ever.

Buying Pro

Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your email address and payment details to process the purchase and send your receipt, under Stripe's privacy policy. We never see your full card number. We can see the email address, amount and date of your purchase in our Stripe dashboard, and we use them only to provide your license and answer support requests.

We do not keep our own database of customers. Your license key is derived from your Stripe checkout ID, and checking it simply asks Stripe whether that purchase is paid.

This website

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Vercel, our host, processes standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run the site.

Sharing and selling

We don't sell or share your data. The only services involved are Stripe (payments) and Vercel (hosting).
